We have scheduled a Rock Climbing campout for the weekend of Aug. 7th. It will be at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch in the Longhorn Counsel on the northwest side of Lake Bridgeport.

Lake Bridgeport is on Hwy. 380 west of Denton, Decatur & Bridgeport.  You can download the permission slip by clicking the following link:

All campers need to turn in a signed permission slip for the campout at Bonham Texas this June 19th.
The permission slip should be returned by 6/16.

The PLC has planned to have an equipment/shed cleanup day for Saturday May 16th.  It will start around 8am with lunch being pizza around noon.  Currenlty we will work until it is completed with ending around 3pm. 

Please plan to attend this activity as this will benefit the entire troop moving forward.

No permission slip is required as everyone will be dropped off at the shed and picked up there.  Pizza will be delivered.

Reserve the time on your calendar for the May Court of Honor.  The boys have worked hard this year so there are a lot of recognitions to be provided.  More details will be provided soon.

Due to our volume of activities and the time required to support this event we have decided to cancell our activites are the Scout Show this year.  The scouts just finished Camporee and we need to focus on Court of Honor the weekend after next.  We will plan to be active next year.

Summer camp 2009 is going to be at Camp Hale in Oklahoma this year.  The camp offers a lot of really cool merit badge classes so please get on the list soon.
